On my way to Spring Quilt Market

Twist & Turn - New Technique
I thought I would post to the blog a little early this week since I will be at Spring Quilt Market Thursday, May 20th thru May 23rd.  One of the Schoolhouse sessions I am offering at the Quilt Market is Twist & Turn. For those of you not able to attend I want to share a little information on this really fabulous method.
With Twist & Turn you are able to sew a variety of designs - windmills, an hourglass, interlocking shapes, scallops, and zig-zags - all with beautifully curved edges.  Sewing traditional curved seams takes practice and is not easy or fun. With  Twist & Turn you can quickly and easily sew smooth, gracefully curved seams.

Ask your local quilt store for Twist & Turn,  book #5364, or order directly from Design Originals.

I love the zentangled scrapbook - what a great idea and so beautiful.

I also really wish I lived closer so I could take your quilting class - that sounds fascinating.

I'm not especially but my mother is an excellent quilter so I'm familiar enough with it to be impressed. I'm pretty good at the hand quilting part, but not great at the piecing part.

Who is that beautiful young model on your zentangle scrapbook page? Bet she will grow up to look just like her mother and grandmother. What a treasure to have art and beauty run in the family.
